                “Women’s Safety and Health Awareness” program was conducted at Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune, on dated 15/10/2018. The Key speaker of this program was Mrs. Bageshree Manthalkar (NGO-Suajya Sarvangin Vikas Prakalpa). The event was successfully conducted in the presence of Mrs. Uma S. Dhole Patil (Secretary, Dhole Patil Education Society), Mrs. Kanchana Desai, (Counsellor), Prof. Varsha R. Dange (Chairman, ICC, DPCOE), female faculty members and girls students. Prof. Varsha R. Dange started the program with her welcome speech and also disseminated work process of Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) in the college.

                   Mrs. Bageshree Manthalkar addressed all students and emphasized on importance of hygiene habit for living a healthy life. Mrs. Uma Dhole Patil enlightened the audience with her key points on safety and hygiene environment in college which would facilitate good academic environment. Mrs. Kanchana Desai has meticulously covered topics on women’s safety. Students were made released how to tackle unwanted situation correctly.

                   Girls Students played drama on this topic. The play really gave clear picture of different stages of woman in society where these unsolicited acts are commonly seen and heard. Question and answer session was very interactive and informative for girls students as well as for faculty. The program was ended with vote of thanks by Prof. Pranjali Kulkarni (HOD,Civil Department ).
