Dhole Patil College of Engineering has successfully organized two days National Level Workshop on “Renewable Energy & its Applications”, approved by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and in association with Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) & NABARD on 17th June and 18th June 2018 at its campus.
Honorable Chairman Shri. Sagar U. Dhole Patil and Principal Prof. Dr. Nihar Walimbe inaugurated the function. Eminent guests from academic field like Dr. Shireesh Kedare (IIT Mumbai), Dr. Rajendra Hiremath and Mr. Ashiwinikumar Sejawalkar shared their valuable experience and knowledge. This workshop was organized to create awareness about Renewable Energy and its applications. Mr. Aniket Chodhary delivered a session on Hybrid Solar System on the first day. While on second day Mr. Jayendra Wadhonkar from MEDA & Dr. Alka Padhi from NABARD discussed various State & Central Government policies for Renewable Energy and Mr. Milind Ugalmugale also delivered an expert lecture on Solar system Installation Fabrication. Faculty members and Students from various institutes were also present for the workshop on both days. The overall Management of the workshop was completed under the guidance of Dr. U.M. Shirsat and well-coordinated by Workshop Coordinator Mr. Kotkar Dattatrya and all faculty members of Mechanical Department.
