The department of Computer Engineering has well-equipped laboratories, furnished classrooms and highly experienced faculty with a love for teaching. Our students analyze, design, and evaluate computer systems, both hardware and software. They work on systems such as a flexible manufacturing system or a “smart” device or instrument. They also work on the planning, development, testing, and even the supervision of manufacturing of computer hardware.

The work of a computer engineer is grounded in hardware, but also focuses on operating systems and software. They may also focus on computer networks for the transmission of data and multimedia. Computer engineers understand logic design, microprocessor system design, computer architecture, computer interfacing, and continually focus on system requirements and design. We teach every aspect of the subject meticulously and make the students perfect with hands-on practice so that students of this computer engineering college can boldly face the challenges ahead in constantly growing technological world.



4 years (Lateral Entry mode of admissions during second year of the program is applicable for Diploma holders)

Students would be eligible only if they have obtained more than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics group in class XII and 45% for caste reservation.

Other opportunities lie under software development, systems designing and analysis, network engineering and hardware engineering.

1.Prof. Shrikant Dhamdhere  – Head of Department  .

Prof. Shrikant Dhamdhere has completed Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Master of Engineering (M.E.) and pursuing the Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience. His area of interest is computer networking, network security, information security, software engineering, cloud computing, and wireless sensor network. He has published 7 International papers in reputed journals. He also has participated in STTP, FDP and workshops for academic and research development. He is a member of a professional body named Computer society of India, Delhi. He has submitted and published one PATENT on ‘User Data Security on Cloud’ in Indian patent journal. He has guided at UG level students and counsel them for higher education associated with foreign universities. He has also organized and conducted various technical and cultural events. He is always engaged in monitoring overall development of the student, to increase technical knowledge and moral values.
