ADMISSIONS NOW OPEN FOR 2017-18!

A Guest lecture on “Environmental Literacy: A Step towards sustainable development” by Dr. Ram Boojh Yadav, Program specialist of environment and natural heritage at UNESCO. Seminar held on  4th march 2017. Other Key Speakers were Dr. Vinita Apte and Dr. Rupa Dawane.

Environmental literacy is the capacity of an individual to act successfully in daily life on a broad understanding of how people and societies relate to each other and to natural systems, and how they might do so sustainably. This requires sufficient awareness, knowledge, skills, and attitudes in order to incorporate appropriate environmental considerations into daily decisions about consumption, lifestyle, career, and civics, and to engage in individual and collective action.

Mrs. Uma Dhole Patil(Secretary, DPES), Dr. Ranbir Bhatia(Director General, DPES), Dr. Abhijit Dandavate (Principal, DPCOE), HoDs of various Departments, Faculty and students witnessed the Seminar. 

Very Interesting interaction went between key speakers and students. Students inputs depicted the seriousness towards Environmental Issues .
