Ans – DPCOE is one of Pune’s leading engineering and management colleges with a focus on the overall growth and skill development of students. Ans – The college is affiliated to the University of Pune (Savitribai Phule Pune University), DTE-Maharashtra and AICTE, New Delhi.

Ans – We offer three degrees:

  • Bachelors in Engineering which is a four years full time course
  • Masters in Engineering which is a two years full time course
  • Masters in Business Administration which is a two years full time course

Ans – We are among the top 10 engineering colleges in Pune. However, as far as placements are concerned, we have been rewarded with the best quality and highest number of placements in Eastern Pune.

Ans – There will be two semesters in a year, that is, a total of eight semesters for 12th pass students, and six semesters for diploma holders.

Ans – As per Maharashtra Shiksha Sulkhsamiti, our interim fee is Rs. 77,000/- per annum with additional University charges of Rs. 7,000/- per annum. The total fee totals to Rs. 84,000/- per annum.

Ans – Hostel and mess charges are Rs. 65,000/- per annum, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea.

Ans – Yes, the hostel and college areas are under CCTV coverage with round-the-clock security guards. For medical emergencies, the college has tie–ups with Ruby Hall Clinic, one of Pune’s leading hospitals. We also have student health insurance schemes which are optional.

Ans – We provide nutritious and healthy meals at our cafeteria that includes mostly vegetarian meals that include two vegetables, salad, pickle, daal, rice and rotis. Non-vegetarian meals are available on request. The meal quantity is unlimited, and students can eat their fill.

Ans – Suisse Bank, Mphasis, WNS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Markets & Markets, Vodafone, Barclays, Searce, Sears Holdings, All Scripts, Persistent, Neosoft Technology, Vopak Technologies, NTT Data, TCS are some of the best companies for campus placements.

Ans – Yes. Many of our students are currently interning with Suisse Bank, which is a company from Switzerland.

Ans – Yes. We train our students in soft skills to appear for aptitude tests and GD-PIs through a corporate training division tie-up from their first year itself.

Ans – The hostel has double occupancy rooms with an attached bathroom and WiFi connectivity. On demand, single occupancy rooms can be provided with extra charges.

Ans – 95% of our faculty members have a post-graduate degree and hands-on experience of average seven years. Many of our faculty members are currently pursuing their PhD degrees as well.

For other companies, it is 55% and above

Ans – We have all types of outdoor and indoor game facilities like a cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground, fully equipped gymnasium, table tennis, and many more sports facilities.

Ans – From Pune station, we are about 13 kilometres and from the airport it is 5 kilometres. The college is well connected to the city by road and long distance bus services.

Ans – Yes, we do provide a one night stay to parents in the college resort, which is owned and run by well-known Kapila Resorts.
